2. Description of Service

IP Lookup provides IP address lookup and geolocation information services. The service displays your current IP address and associated geographical and network information obtained through Cloudflare's infrastructure.

3. Use of Service

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the service in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the service or any systems or networks connected to the service
  • Use the service to transmit any viruses, worms, defects, trojan horses, malware, or any items of a destructive nature
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the service
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the service for commercial purposes without express written permission

4. API Usage

Our API is provided free of charge for both personal and commercial use. While we do not currently impose rate limits, we reserve the right to implement them at any time to ensure fair usage and service availability for all users.

You may not:

  • Resell or redistribute the API as a standalone service
  • Use the API in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service
  • Use the API for any unlawful or prohibited purpose

5. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by IP Lookup and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected
  • The service is free of viruses or other harmful components
  • The results of using the service will meet your requirements
  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information obtained through the service

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall IP Lookup, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
  • Any content obtained from the service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IP Lookup and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses arising from your use of and access to the service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
